The Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre (ACSC) at Peter Mac has three broad areas of focus, providing:

information and support for survivors

education and training for health professionals

leadership and guidance around cancer survivorship

When celebrating its 10th year, the team approached ThinkHatch to adapt the traditional ACSC logo to recognise this achievement – and returned 5 years later to do the same again. A small job for a meaningful organisation. We are honoured to support the ACSC in sharing its progress and impact.

On the 25th of February, 2024, Flying Fox hosted its 10th Birthday ‘Whimsical Afternoon Tea’. It was a massive magical party with over 800 guests coming together to celebrate 10 years of growth and impact for young people with disability. With big dreams on the horizon, they set a lofty goal of raising $700,000. And once again, we helped them do just that. Supporting Flying Fox to continue it's growth trajectory and extend the reach of their incredible organisation truly makes our hearts sing. Onwards and upwards to the next 10 years and beyond!

Our solution

We designed gorgeous 10 year celebration visual identity that the whole team loved! It was brought to life superbly on-site with a range of event dressing, promotional material, signage, media walls, branded clothing, merchandise and more. We also produced the campaign fundraising page on the Flying Fox website and a range of icons, tiles and flourishes that were used to bring the campaign to life online. Whimsy, joy, colour and fun. It reflected Flying Fox in every possible way and we loved every minute of its creation.

Our solution

ThinkHatch conducted a strategic planning session that allowed us to identify key business objectives, define Print on Wood’s point of difference, clarify target audiences and compress the brand into a set of key messages with desired outcomes for use in all future marketing activity.

Together with Deon we investigated whole of business requirements and objectives in order to determine a suitable marketing strategy and tactical plan that ensured best use of resource and spend and effectively positioned Print on Wood for future growth. We provided Print on Wood with a sound strategy and practical and actionable marketing plan together with expected outcomes and measures of success. Recognising the pressures on small to medium sized businesses, we designed a solution that paid careful attention to the health and wellbeing of the business and its key people while promoting the Print on Wood brand profile.

We also worked with the Print on Wood team to design collateral that included print and laser cut wood products to provide the ‘wow’ factor that the brand deserves. This piece has received unanimous applause from prospects and helped generate an uplift in sales within the print, design and event planning space.
